Dubai Taxi Company PJSC (DTC) has announced an expansion of its fleet by adding 250 new vehicles. This move comes as part of DTC’s strategy to enhance its services and meet the increasing demand for transportation in the city.

Fleet Growth and Revenue Boost

The acquisition of 250 new license plates from the Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) raises DTC’s total fleet to 6,210 vehicles. This expansion is projected to generate an additional Dh85 million in annual revenue. The new vehicles will be fully allocated to electric models, increasing DTC’s environmentally friendly fleet to approximately 87% of its total taxi and limousine offerings.

Mansoor Rahma Alfalasi, CEO of DTC, emphasized that this initiative aligns with the UAE’s Year of Sustainability and reflects the company’s commitment to innovative transport solutions. By expanding its fleet of electric vehicles, DTC aims to reduce emissions and enhance operational efficiency, contributing to environmental preservation.

With this growth, DTC now operates over 9,000 vehicles, including taxis, limousines, buses, and motorcycles, reinforcing its position as a comprehensive mobility solutions provider.By enhancing operational capabilities and expanding its electric vehicle fleet, DTC is well-equipped to meet the rising demand for transportation services in Dubai while promoting sustainability and innovation in urban mobility.
