Dubai has officially commenced construction on its first aerial taxi vertiport near Dubai International Airport (DXB). This innovative facility will accommodate up to 42,000 landings and serve 170,000 passengers annually. The new vertiport spans 3,100 square meters and will initially operate in four major areas: Downtown Dubai, Dubai Marina, Palm Jumeirah, and Dubai International Airport. The aerial taxi service is set to launch in early 2026, marking a pivotal step in urban mobility.
