Starting June 19, Abu Dhabi’s Al Ain City will enforce stringent vehicle towing regulations under the Mawaqif Regulation Law. This initiative, led by Abu Dhabi Mobility (AD Mobility), aims to enhance public parking management and traffic flow.
Key Enforcement Measures
Vehicles will be towed for violations such as:
- Absence of license plates in parking areas, leading to immediate towing to Mawaqif Vehicle Impounding Yard.
- Unauthorized commercial, advertising, or promotional use of parked vehicles.
- Occupying parking spaces without a valid permit or with an expired one.
Promoting Compliance and Awareness
Abu Dhabi Mobility urges the public to adhere to the Mawaqif Parking system to avoid fines and vehicle towing. Educational workshops are being conducted to raise awareness about proper parking etiquette, ensuring smooth traffic movement and community safety.
