Dubai’s iconic Burj Khalifa will dazzle the skies with a brand new lighting system during the UAE’s National Day celebrations. The tallest building in the world, standing at 829.8 meters, will showcase a dynamic RGBW lighting system that merges advanced technology with architectural beauty, as announced by Emaar Properties.
Debut During Eid Al Etihad
The new lighting system will make its debut on December 1 during the Eid Al Etihad celebrations. This upgrade not only enhances the visual appeal of the Burj Khalifa but also marks a significant milestone as the building approaches its 15th anniversary on January 4, 2025.
Innovative Lighting Technology
The installation process involved six months of meticulous testing to ensure seamless integration of the new system. The RGBW technology replaces static lights with color-changing, addressable fixtures, allowing for intricate lighting effects that adapt to various occasions and celebrations.
A Celebration of Progress
Ahmad Al Matrooshi, Executive Director of Emaar Properties, emphasized that this lighting overhaul reflects a commitment to innovation and excellence. The Burj Khalifa continues to stand as a symbol of Dubai’s ambition and progress, captivating visitors and residents alike with its stunning displays.
