His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, has announced the launch of a new edition of the Arab Hope Makers initiative. This pan-Arab project aims to honor individuals making a tangible difference in their communities across the Arab world.
Celebrating Hope and Positivity
In a recent tweet, Sheikh Mohammed emphasized the transformative power of hope, stating, “Human beings live with hope, and societies are built on the power of hope.” He highlighted the initiative’s goal to identify and celebrate those who dedicate themselves to spreading goodness and optimism in their communities.
Nomination Process
The initiative invites self-nominations or public nominations for Arab individuals, volunteering groups, or non-profit organizations worldwide. Interested candidates can nominate themselves or others at arabhopemakers.com.
Selection and Awards
After several evaluation stages, five finalists will be selected based on their social humanitarian initiatives. Each finalist will be honored at a grand ceremony in Dubai and awarded Dh1 million to support their humanitarian efforts.
