The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) has declared Friday, September 29, 2023, a paid public holiday for private sector employees to celebrate the birthday of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). This holiday, known as Milad un Nabi (Mawlid), is observed on the 12th day of the Islamic month of Rabi Al Awwal and holds significant spiritual importance in the Islamic community.
