UAE is in the lead of Middle East and Africa’s top 10 lowest-risk countries

The UAE maintained its position as the lowest-risk nation in the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region for the second quarter of 2023, according to a report by GlobalData. Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, and Bahrain also retained their rankings in the region. However, despite a slight decrease in risk score, the MEA region remains the highest-risk region, with challenges including a global economic slowdown, declining oil production, food security issues, heatwaves in the Middle East, and a humanitarian crisis in Africa. The report evaluated 56 countries in the MEA region, categorizing them into different risk zones.
