UAE plans visa-free travel for Gulf residents to raise tourism

The United Arab Emirates is considering the implementation of a visa system that would simplify travel for residents of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) nations, including Saudi Arabia. This proposed visa system would allow residents within the GCC to travel freely among the member countries, enhancing regional tourism and ease of movement. While GCC citizens can currently travel across borders without visas, foreign residents still require visas to cross GCC borders. The UAE’s move aims to further promote regional integration and tourism within the Gulf region
