Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced updated parking and public transport timings for the holy month of Ramadan. The new schedule gives residents two hours of free parking at sunset while adjusting metro and tram operations across the city.

Paid Parking Timings During Ramadan

RTA will apply paid parking fees in two daily periods from Monday to Saturday:

  • 8:00am to 6:00pm

  • 8:00pm to 12:00 midnight

Drivers will enjoy two hours of free parking around Maghrib, allowing residents to pray and break their fast without worrying about parking fees.

Multi-storey parking facilities will continue to operate 24/7 throughout Ramadan.

Dubai Metro Ramadan Timings

RTA has also adjusted operating hours for both Red and Green Lines.

Red Line and Green Line

  • Monday to Thursday: 5:00am – 12:00 midnight

  • Friday: 5:00am – 1:00am (next day)

  • Saturday: 5:00am – 12:00 midnight

  • Sunday: 8:00am – 12:00 midnight

Dubai Tram Operating Hours

The Dubai Tram will follow this Ramadan schedule:

  • Monday to Saturday: 6:00am – 1:00am (next day)

  • Sunday: 9:00am – 1:00am (next day)

Public Buses and Marine Transport Updates

Commuters can check updated bus schedules through the S’hail app. Passengers using marine transport can visit the official RTA website to review the latest timings.

Customer Happiness Centres and Vehicle Services

RTA has also revised operating hours for Customer Happiness Centres and service providers, including vehicle inspection centres. Residents should check official platforms before visiting.
