Dubai has unveiled a 1.8km three-lane flyover on Al Yalayis Street to improve traffic flow and facilitate movement between Dubai Investment Park (DIP) and key roadways. Developed in collaboration with Etihad Rail, this project ensures smooth train operations along the UAE’s national railway network while enhancing mobility for commuters.
Seamless Traffic & Railway Integration
The newly constructed flyover separates train movement from vehicle traffic, eliminating congestion and ensuring an uninterrupted flow for both. Positioned within the median strip of Al Yalayis Street, the railway section allows trains to travel efficiently without affecting road traffic.
Enhanced Road Access & Connectivity
To further optimize movement, the flyover integrates:
- A right-turn slip road for vehicles from Dubai, providing direct access to DIP.
- A right-turn slip road for exits towards Sheikh Zayed Road, streamlining navigation for commuters.
Future Expansion Plans
The project is set to extend towards Jumeirah Golf Estates, incorporating a two-lane road in each direction. This expansion will strengthen Dubai’s road network connectivity, improving accessibility for residents and businesses.
