New 55 parks announced to be built in dubai

“One of the great advantages of living in Dubai is the continuous development and expansion of the city. While news often revolves around new infrastructure such as roads, bridges, malls, residential areas, and dining destinations, there’s exciting news for outdoor enthusiasts. Dubai Municipality is actively working on the creation of 55 new parks throughout the city.

These upcoming parks aim to provide ample family-friendly spaces, further enhancing the quality of life in the Emirate. In addition to the parks, the municipality is also in the process of constructing four family squares, with two of them already completed in the Al Warqa 1 and 4 districts.

This commitment to green spaces and recreational areas demonstrates Dubai’s dedication to ensuring a vibrant and well-rounded urban environment for its residents and visitors.”

“The ongoing construction efforts for the remaining two family squares in Al Nahda 1 and Hor Al Anz East are progressing well and are expected to be completed in the upcoming months.

These entertainment squares are a valuable addition for families in Dubai, providing dedicated spaces for hosting family gatherings, occasions, and a wide range of entertainment and sports activities.

Dubai has been actively expanding its green spaces and recreational facilities, with a total of 124 parks, family entertainment squares, and playgrounds planned across the city. Notably, between 2019 and 2021, approximately 70 facilities were already constructed in citizen housing areas.

Dawoud Al Hajri, the Director-General of Dubai Municipality, emphasized the municipality’s commitment to enhancing the quality of life in the emirate through the development of public parks and unique recreational amenities. The ongoing project, valued at Dhs93 million, includes the launch of 55 additional family parks and squares in the coming months, further elevating the luxury and standard of living in Dubai.”
