RTA Enhances Dubai’s Bus Network with New Routes and Improved Services

in a move to enhance public transportation in Dubai, the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced the launch of four new metro link bus routes and improvements to several existing routes, effective August 30th. These changes are designed to simplify route identification, expand service coverage, and provide a smoother commuting experience for passengers across the emirate.

New Metro Link Routes

The RTA will introduce four new metro link routes, with two replacing the existing Route 31:

  1. Route F39 will operate between Etisalat Bus Station and Oud Al Muteena Roundabout Bus Stop 1, with a 30-minute frequency.
  2. Route F40 will connect Etisalat Bus Station with Mirdif, Street 78, also running every 30 minutes.
