New Payment Options for RTA Services

Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has expanded its partnership with Tabby, a leading installment payment app, to offer flexible payment options across all its digital platforms. Customers can now pay for over 170 services, including vehicle and driving license renewals, traffic fines, and monthly Dubai Metro travel passes, in up to four interest-free installments.

Previously available only at smart kiosks, the Tabby payment option is now integrated into RTA’s website, app, and nol Pay app, making it easier than ever to navigate payments.

Supporting Dubai’s Cashless Vision

This initiative aligns with Dubai’s Cashless Strategy and the leadership’s vision of a fully digital government. By introducing Tabby across its digital channels, RTA aims to enhance customer convenience and promote financial flexibility.

How Tabby Works

Tabby allows users to split payments into four equal installments without interest. The app serves over 15 million customers and partners with more than 40,000 brands across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait. This integration empowers users to manage their financial commitments effectively while accessing essential RTA services.

Enhanced Accessibility

The expansion builds on RTA’s initial collaboration with Tabby in 2024, which was limited to smart kiosks. Now, customers can access the service from anywhere in Dubai through RTA’s digital platforms. This move underscores RTA’s commitment to improving accessibility and providing seamless payment solutions for residents.

A Step Toward a Smarter Future

By adopting innovative digital payment methods like Tabby, RTA continues to lead the way in transforming Dubai into a global hub for smart governance and sustainable urban mobility.
